As I read about the murder of NREGA activist Lalit Mehta, I realized that incidents like these are something which I periodically keep reading about. They seem to come one at a time, outrage us a little and then go away from the daily newspapers and from our minds. This site is an effort to accumulate that outrage and stir people into doing something about it. For each incident, I intend to have a page where you can follow up and take subsequent action. Actions can be anything from writing to or calling up people, filing RTI (Right To Information Act) applications in India and so on. An interesting quote I read on the web says “Ignorance is not an excuse and apathy is acquiescence”.
